Solar panel powering home office

I got the solar panel up and running today.  It’s been out of action for the past 6 months while we’ve been moving home and getting other priorities sorted in the new place.  I built it using recycled and reused materials at a workshop run by local energy activist group Demand Energy Equality.  The frame was constructed using reclaimed wood by my carpenter friend Nat Parsons (natpars@gmail.com). The panel enables me to power a basic home office setup (charging a netbook, smartphone and sound system) off grid using renewable energy from the sun.
